FOI Online provides assistance and general information to help applicants access government documents by using the Victorian Freedom of Information Act 1982. Using this site you can locate the correct agency to make a request to and make a request online to selected agencies.
The information on this site applies to Victorian state and local government agencies only. These include Ministers, State Government departments, local councils, public hospitals, most semigovernment agencies and statutory authorities.
This site also contains guidance material to assist FOI practitioners in carrying out their responsibilities.
There are also links to other sites and to copies of FOI Annual Reports and other relevant documents.
This whole of Government website was developed and is managed by the Department of Justice on behalf of the Victorian State Government.
